Donation of household items by rotary club of Benin in collaboration with other rotary clubs.

Rotary club of Benin in collaboration with rotary clubs of Benin metropolitan, Oregbeni and uselu visited uhogua an outskirt of Benin city where the internally displaced persons IDP camp is located and made donations of household items including provisions to the management staff on behalf of the inmates who were very exctatic over the gesture. They sang and danced for us and thereafter their chaplain prayed for everybody. It was quite revealing experience to know the problems associated with states and cities in crisis. Some of the inmates have acquired some skills over time and could make things like handbags,shoes even soaps for washing.
